Ο Nick Cave έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα τα 50 αγαπημένα του βιβλία μετά από ερώτηση μιας θαυμάστριάς του στο Red Hand Files. Μάλιστα ο ίδιος είπε ότι τα ράφια του είναι πλέον άδεια καθώς περισσότερα από 5.000 βιβλία του μεταφέρθηκαν στη Βασιλική Δανέζικη Βιβλιοθήκη στην Κοπεγχάγη και αποτελούν μέρος της Έκθεσης «Stranger Than Kindness».

«Χωρίς να έχω τη βιβλιοθήκη μπροστά μου είναι λίγο δύσκολο να δημιουργήσω μια ολοκληρωμένη λίστα από τα πιο αγαπημένα μου βιβλία», έγραψε ο Cave. «Το καλύτερο που μπορώ να κάνω είναι να παρουσιάσω μια λίστα έστω και άμορφη και χωρίς συνοχή με τίτλους που μου έρχονται αυτή τη στιγμή στο μυαλό από βιβλία που έχω αγαπήσει και νομίζω ότι είναι 50».
